Established in 2008 by Salome Lamb shortly before the start of the recession and the downturn in the property market, the timing for the opening of a conveyancing practice could not have been worse. However, with a passion for the industry, a dedication to client service and the consistent delivery of excellent results, Salome Lamb and Associates has not only survived the recession but has grown year on year. With the continued growth, Jared Lamb joined the Salome Lamb and Associates in 2014 and opened the Cape Town branch. By utilising the latest information technology we have remotely linked the Durban and Cape Town Offices, which allows the Cape Town office to assist the Durban office, as effectively as if it were located in Durban, while enabling it to grow the practice in Cape Town.

Salome Lamb
Salome has over 40 years experience in conveyancing, beginning her career as a paralegal in 1973. In 2002 and while continuing to work as a paralegal, Salome commenced studying part-time towards her LLB degree. Salome was admitted as an Attorney in 2007 and as a Conveyancer in 2008. Shortly after being admitted Salome opened Salome Lamb & Associates.

Jared Lamb
Jared completed his degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal University and was admitted as an attorney in 2008 and a Conveyancer in 2011. After completing his articles at Goodrickes Attorneys in Durban, Jared joined a prominent family law firm in Cape Town where he handled the entire firm’s conveyancing, in addition to his family law responsibilities. Having grown a passion for conveyancing and property law, Jared joined Salome Lamb and Associates in 2014 where he opened a branch of the in Cape Town and now practices exclusively in conveyancing.
